About Kieva

Kieva is a 7-year-old chocolate English Labrador retriever. While she is a working therapy dog, she believes everyone who comes to our office is coming just to visit and pet her. She is scared of the dark and likes to sleep more than exercise.

Studies have found that therapy animals can be a vital part of the treatment team and help in the mental health process. She is a certified Therapy Dog (ID# 173537) through Therapy Dog International (tdi-dog.org). Her certification means that she has gone through training and has passed her certification test to ensure good temperament and manners while working as a therapy dog. She is kept well-groomed and stay’s up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

If you sign the consent form, Kieva will come to visit for some of your sessions. Her favorite thing to do is be petted followed by falling asleep at your feet.
