Therapeutic Approach

My therapy practice is collaborative, strength-based, and solution-focused. I believe each person has the capacity for growth and change, and I work with you to build on your existing strengths to create meaningful, lasting progress.

I take a systems-minded approach, meaning I view each individual within the broader context of their family, school or workplace, community, culture, and beliefs. Together, we’ll explore what’s troubling you, clarify your goals, and identify practical steps toward healing and growth.

While my primary therapeutic frameworks include Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I also draw from a variety of other approaches, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, Gottman, and more, based on your unique needs and goals.

My goal is to help you reconnect with your sense of purpose, find joy, and become the most authentic version of yourself.

Individual Services

I specialize in supporting individuals, both adolescence and adults, in dealing with anxiety and depression. I have a particular interest in helping people navigate major life transitions—whether you're graduating, getting married or divorced, becoming a parent, changing careers, or adjusting to a move. These significant changes can be overwhelming, and therapy can be a helpful space to find clarity and support.

In addition to life transitions, I offer career coaching and stress management strategies, particularly for those feeling overwhelmed in the workplace.

I also specialize in ADHD. I provide both assessments and ongoing support to help you better understand how ADHD impacts your daily life, along with practical tools to reduce the challenges and improve daily functioning.

While I’m trained in several couples therapy approaches, my niche lies in working individually with clients on the personal patterns, challenges, and dynamics they bring into relationships. This individual work can lead to greater insight, emotional growth, and can complement any couples therapy you may also be engaged in.

Women’s Support

I am a Perinatal Mental Health-Certified Therapist through Postpartum Support International (postpartum.net). As a mom of two young boys, I deeply understand the emotional and practical challenges that come with pregnancy, postpartum adjustments, and the evolving dynamics of a growing family. Whether you're navigating postpartum depression or anxiety, juggling the demands of managing a household, or transitioning back to work, I’m here to help you process these changes with compassion and support.

I work with women experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression—both at home and in the workplace. I offer support around identity shifts that come with motherhood, helping you prioritize self-care, build self-esteem, and feel more grounded during this life phase.

In addition to pregnancy and postpartum care, I have training in supporting individuals and couples through family planning, fertility challenges, and loss during the perinatal period. I understand how deeply personal and painful these experiences can be, and I provide a safe space to process grief, uncertainty, and the emotional complexities that come with these journeys.

My perinatal support also includes help with relationship challenges, bonding with your baby, and navigating changes with older children. I provide parent coaching (see below) and am a certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator, helping new parents strengthen their partnership and create a supportive, nurturing environment for their family.

Adolescent Services

Adolescence is a time of rapid change, emotionally, socially, and physically. Teens today face unique pressures from school, friendships, social media, and planning for their future. At the same time, they’re navigating shifting family dynamics as they seek greater independence and responsibility. These years can bring intense highs and lows, and therapy can offer a valuable space for support, reflection, and skill-building.

I specialize in working with teens who feel burnt out, overwhelmed, and stuck in cycles of high anxiety. Many adolescents struggle to keep up with the demands placed on them, academically, socially, or internally, and I help them slow down, make sense of their emotions, and learn practical tools to manage stress and anxiety in healthier ways.

With over 16 years of experience working with middle and high school students in both clinical and non-clinical settings, I understand the challenges teens face. I support adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, academic struggles, social difficulties, and more. I also have experience working with teens on the autism spectrum and provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ youth.

My goal is to help teens build emotional resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and gain confidence as they move through this important stage of life.

Family Counseling

Families can be a source of deep joy, and at times, significant stress. I offer family counseling and parent coaching to help create a more connected, supportive home environment. My approach focuses on equipping parents with practical tools and strategies so they can respond to challenges with intention and confidence, rather than react out of frustration or overwhelm.

I also work directly with teens to help them express their emotions, navigate confusion, and feel heard in a safe, supportive space. Together, we focus on improving communication, building empathy, and reducing tension within the family system. Whether you're navigating everyday parenting struggles or more complex family dynamics, I’m here to support your growth as a family unit.

Therapy for Other Therapists and Healthcare Professionals

As a therapist, you hold space for others every day, but that doesn’t mean you should have to carry everything alone. I offer therapy for fellow therapists who are seeking support for their own mental health, personal growth, or professional challenges. Whether you're navigating burnout, imposter syndrome, boundary-setting, or simply need a space that’s just for you and your own mental wellbeing, I provide a nonjudgmental environment where you can be fully seen and supported. As a fellow clinician, I understand the unique pressures of this work and the importance of having a safe place to process, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

In addition to working with therapists, I also have experience supporting other healthcare professionals—including nurses, physicians, and caregivers—who face the emotional demands of helping others. I understand the unique pressures that come with these roles and offer a space to process stress, find balance, and reconnect with your sense of purpose and wellbeing.

ADHD & Assessments

I offer ADHD assessments and ongoing support for both teens and adults who are looking to better understand how ADHD shows up in their daily lives. Together, we’ll explore your unique challenges and strengths, and develop personalized strategies to reduce overwhelm, improve focus, and create systems that support your goals.

Whether you’re struggling with time management, emotional regulation, motivation, or feeling constantly behind, therapy can provide insight and practical tools to help you feel more in control. I also help clients navigate the emotional impact of ADHD—such as low self-esteem, anxiety, or feeling misunderstood—and work toward greater self-compassion and confidence in daily life.
