Certified Therapy Dog | Chocolate English Labrador Retriever

Kieva is a 9-year-old chocolate English Labrador Retriever and a cherished member of our therapy team. As a certified therapy dog, she offers comfort, calm, and unconditional support, While she’s a certified therapy dog, and does a good job of giving support and love, but she’s also pretty sure that everyone who walks through the door is there just to love on her, and honestly, she might be right. She’s a gentle, affectionate soul who prefers naps over walks and remains adorably cautious of the dark and anything smaller than she is.

Research has shown that therapy animals can play a meaningful role in the healing process by helping reduce anxiety, increase comfort, and foster emotional connection. Kieva is certified through Therapy Dogs International (TDI ID# 173537), which means she’s completed training and passed an evaluation to ensure she has the right temperament, manners, and behavior to safely and calmly work in a therapeutic setting. She is well-groomed, friendly, and fully up-to-date on all her vaccinations.
